Following months of preparing and refining the final specifications for the powertrain, we are delighted to have now finalised and placed orders for the components and sub-assemblies making up the engines and transmissions for the first ten Nash MVW3 sports racing cars.
In reaching this significant milestone, we've had considerable support and assistance from our major suppliers and, most particularly, from Volkswagen South Africa and Goldwagen who will be supplying the bulk of the OEM parts making up the powertrain.
Over the next few weeks all engine components will be arriving at our Johannesburg factory where they will be handed over for assembly to our resident engine builder, Cantwell Racing Engines. The engines will then be run on CRE's in-house engine dynometer, optimised, sealed, and certified before being assembled into each of the ten awaiting MVW3 chassis.
